Outseta's Benedicte Raae Named To Norway's 50 Leading Women In Tech 2025

Outseta's own Benedicte Raae was named one of Norway's 50 Leading Women in Tech last week, making the annual list put together by the Abelia and ODA Network. This is the 9th year that the organization has assembled this list.
"This selection is an important recognition of the strong role models that exist in the Norwegian tech industry. These are 50 role models who inspire and motivate more people to choose technology as a career path and to seek leadership positions," says Kine Dahl, leader of ODA Network.
The list is organized by Abelia, the business association for Norwegian knowledge and technology based enterprises within NHO (The Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise), and ODA Network, the Nordic region's leading network for diversity in tech. The purpose is to increase the proportion of women who are passionate about and work with technology—a mission near and dear to Benedicte's heart.

"When you grow up with a mom who is a CTO, choosing tech as a career isn't a brave choice—it's a standard choice," says Raae. "And that's the value of visible role models—so I try to be one. Being honored as one of Norway's 50 leading tech women helps fuel the fire!"
Today Benedicte leads Developer Relations at Outseta, while also serving as CTO at Whee!
As a teammate of Benedicte's, I have long admired how she's incorporated her daughter into work from a young age—teaching her to code and often livestreaming tech related content with her. She brings often-needed energy to our team. She has a rare combination of technical skills and an appetite for interfacing directly with customers. She also recently led the development of Outseta's Framer Plugin, a critical project that she led end-to-end.
We're lucky to have Benedicte on our team, and I think I speak for everyone at Outseta when I say that I'm happy to see organization's like Abelia and the ODA Network continue to celebrate diversity in tech and women role models in tech in particular. Contrary to the popularized nonsense of the moment, these are good things.
Go Benedicte!
